Staycation: Courtyard Hotel by Marriott Abu Dhabi

It’s National Day and we have some hotel vouchers to use on a weekend getaway… I had a few hotels to choose from but Courtyard Hotel by Marriott got our pick of the best deals.. Its location is set in Abu Dhabi’s Central Business District, this upscale hotel occupies a striking contemporary building connected to the World Trade Center. , valid for a cheaper price of 2 nights from my entertainer voucher, and also they have a rooftop pool & jacuzzi for Isob’s fave activity.. swimming!

She really had so much fun in the water and the joy in her face is priceless.. It was such a perfect family bond for us too.
img_3459After hours of swimming and pool dipping we head on to the connected mall of the Hotel building the World Trade Center for dinner. We tried Nando’s restaurant for the first time and ordered Espetada & Peri-Peri chicken.Isobel’s Ninang Sally & my bestfriend lives near the area so we invited her to have dinner with us.img_3450Our orders were served on skewers and looks appetizing.img_3451The food was great! yumthe next day we woke up late around 10:00 in the morning and us usual our princess begged my husband to go to the pool for a swim, we’re not actually surprised because we know she will ask about it.

We went swimming again all day  and finished around afternoon.. We skipped lunch because we are so into swimming lolimg_3516Banana Spring Rolls

Six pieces of banana rolled in cinnamon and sugar then wrapped in a wonton & friend. they come out crisp and warm, served a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We ordered this because she likes ice cream for dessert^^Triend PF Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps
